Dr Rajput has substantial and extensive experience of practising psychiatry extended over 15 years. He is currently an inpatient Consultant Psychiatrist with expertise in diagnosis and management of complex and severe mental health disorders. Furthermore he works as consultant in Liaison Psychiatrist at two Hospitals in Worcestershire.

He has worked in almost all sub-specialities of psychiatry including Eating Disorders, Perinatal Psychiatry, Rehabilitation and Child Adolescent Mental Health Services. However, he holds his GMC Specialist Registration in General Adult Psychiatry with an endorsement in Liaison Psychiatry.

He is highly experienced in the assessment and treatment of all forms of mental illnesses and disorders, occupational psychiatry assessments and personality evaluations, and duly qualified to deliver high quality patient care. He combines his medical treatment skills with psychological approach to provide individualised and holistic care to his patients within the bio-psycho-social model.

He completed basic specialist training in psychiatry in Birmingham and (UK) and Philadelphia (USA) before completing his higher specialist training in General Adult and Liaison psychiatry in Manchester. He has trained with eminent psychiatrists in USA and UK and worked across various subspecialities of psychiatry including highly specialist psychiatric liaison services including perinatal and chronic fatigue services.

Dr Rajput organises and provides free seminars on mental health and anti-stigma issues to marginalized ethnic groups within UK and within Europe. He is passionate about improving mental health service provision and training in low income countries and is a World Health Organisation consultant advising on Primary mental health care issues. He has worked in Tajikistan over the past 3 years and he has trained GP’s on management of depression and other conditions and is preparing drafts of the Primary Care Mental Health Protocol for the Ministry of Health in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. 

Dr Rajput is qualified to deliver EMDR and manage trauma work in PTSD.

Dr Rajput has worked extensively in the field of Occupational Psychiatry and for police and firefighters and has acted as a specialist at Pension tribunals represented. He also has written specialist occupational psychiatry reports on teachers and civil servants and for courts and to support benefit claims. I am registered as a specialist with Bupa and other private healthcare providers.
